This summer Out In The Vineyard’s Gay Wine Weekend raised a huge amount of money for Face to Face here in Solano County. This is one of Tony’s and my favorite events of the year. Men and women from all over the United States spent a full-filled weekend touring wines, dancing under the stars at Chateau St. Jean Winery, and then enjoying a delicious brunch during which over $50,000 was raised during the live auction. Gary Saperstein from Out In The Vineyard, Meghan Murphy, programs director at Face to Face, and Steven Ghidinelli, vice-president of the board for Face to Face, talk about the event, the money raised, and what it will be used for. Gary gave us the history of Out In The Vineyard and shared some of the plans for future events. We also talked about the potential impact of the repeal of the Affordable Care Act on HIV treatment and prevention.
